Call for interested Tampere University Automation Engineering or Information Technology MSc Students to make a
PONSSE / EPEC STUDENT DEAL
Tampere University and Ponsse / Epec are again launching a pilot program to offer an opportunity for a few students to combine their masters studies with working and learning-on-the-job experience. The goal of this program is to make a close connection between you and Ponsse / Epec already throughout your studies and, as importantly, ensure that you manage to graduate within the planned timeframe of two years.
WHAT
An opportunity to gain working experience in international and development friendly organization, where you have a possibility to work with State-of-the-art technologies. We offer students proper orientation and induction to PONSSE / Epec as companies and their operations, summer job, part-time working, diploma work, in-house mentoring and training.
TO WHOM
Tampere University Automation Engineering or Information Technology students started/starting their MSc studies in 2023-2024. There is a need for all kinds of expertise but currently
- Ponsse is looking for expertise especially in machine to machine communications and advanced map applications. In addition, if you are a young professional interested e.g., in machine control, electric actuators, power management or systems of forest machines, this could be a ground-breaking opportunity to put your skill set to a challenging & practical test.
- Epec is looking for students who are willing to work with electrification of non-road mobile machines and commercial vehicles, and deepen their knowledge in specific areas of electric/hybrid powertrain systems such as model-based systems engineering, electric power management and distribution in vehicles, power electronics, communication protocols or embedded software.
WHEN
As of Spring 2024 – to graduation in summer 2025.
